The namesake of my brand, Moonflower. A photo I took on a hike in Moonflower Canyon, Moab Utah.
I work at my desk on both my ipad and in my sketchbooks.

Hand-Drawn Food & Botanical Art for Cosy Kitchens and Warm Homes!

Moonflower by Sam is an illustration-led homeware brand focused on slow craft, colour, and connection. Each piece is hand-drawn and thoughtfully designed to bring warmth and joy into everyday spaces.

Originally from the southwest US, I took inspiration for the name Moonflower from Moonflower Canyon, Utah. a special place where I had taken many hikes and spent lots of time before moving to Ireland. I wanted to bring the essence of the calm and beautiful desert canyon back with me to my new home and bring that through my own art practice. My art is always nature focused with bright colour.

My illustrations are always done by hand, with no AI. I work in combination with coloured pencils, watercolours, and digitally drawing on my ipad.
