Thanks for stopping by the MoonStation, the Etsy shop of Vancouver area artist and designer Garrett Moon.
Here you'll find some of my strange creations, which I carefully design and build by hand (well I use tools like laser cutters and routers and sanders and saws too but you get the idea). I graduated many years ago from Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver, BC (Integrated Media (film & interactive)). By trade I'm a Creative Director / interactive / UX / UI designer - and I'm constantly finding new ways to translate those skills to other creative spaces.
Hence MoonStation Design.
Currently you'll find a lot of unique novelty coasters (Turntables w/ records, Boomboxes w/ cassettes, Toasters w/ toast, Hamburgers, Donuts, and more), as well as custom Cribbage boards, custom signage and wall art, desk fans disguised as vintage radios, boomboxes and more.
I'm always looking for new projects and ideas, and I'm open to custom creations - they make great gifts for corporate events, parties, father's day, and really any time you need to tell someone you appreciate them with a handcrafted hamburger coaster set.
