Welcome to MorningSongArt 🕊️, the print boutique of TWilhite Art Studio. Every piece here begins as a physical painting in my studio, where I use my FRAME method (Fun, Ratio, Angles, Marks & Empty Space) to capture the quiet soul of birds and the warmth of the natural landscape.
I’m Tanya Wilhite, a nature-loving artist based in Des Moines, Iowa, and I created Morning Song Art for one simple reason: to offer little pockets of peace and restoration in a world that moves too fast.
While this shop is dedicated to fine art prints and curated journals like The Quiet Field, it is rooted in a daily practice of observation and painting. You can see my painting process, from the first pastel stroke to the finished original painting, over on Instagram or via my studio links below.
My work is inspired by the quiet moments that often go unnoticed — a bird resting on a branch, soft morning light on leaves, the stillness right before the day really begins. Each piece starts as my original artwork, created with archival, professional materials, and then is lovingly transformed into fine art prints and nature-inspired gifts through trusted print-on-demand partners or printed in my own studio.
