    Owner, I Do Everything!

Pottery is my second career, the first being psychology. I have a wonderful husband and three fabulous children. My studio is my favourite place but when I am not there, I can be found in my garden, walking near home or in the mountains.

Frequently asked questions

How do you pack your pottery?

I pack my pottery carefully in two boxes with corn packaging chips in between them to avoid breakages.
I am passionate about reducing the use of plastic and so usually use paper and cardboard, with compostable packing chips. I reuse boxes sometimes if they are given to me to avoid them having to be recycled. Sometimes I also reuse plastic materials.

Do you delivery outside the UK?

Yes, I deliver to most places in the world. Additional delivery charges apply to all countries except the UK, where there is free delivery. I charge these at cost, and will refund any overcharges as it is sometimes difficult to anticipate the exact costs. Unfortunately I have stopped selling on this platform to the USA.

Increasingly there are Customs, VAT and handling charges when sending outside of the UK. So there may be additional charges on my pottery which are out of my control but which will need to be paid by you before the carrier delivers your lovely item to you.

Why are your sizes approximate?

It is very difficult to make my products millimetre perfect as everything is handmade. If this is a concern for you, then I suggest that you contact me and I can give you details of the exact product that I might send to you.

Is the decoration the same on every item?

No, it is not. I make everything myself and so there is variation in the design between items. There are also sometimes marks and wobbles and splashes on the pottery. All of these show that it is hand made and is part of the joy of holding something unique and hand crafted.

What carriers do you use to send your pottery?

I use either Royal Mail Tracked 48 for or an equivalent carrier to send my pots within the UK. To send it overseas, I use UPS, Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed, or an equivalent carrier.
