Spreading Love and Connection Through Multilingual Art
Hi everyone, my name is S.K., welcome to my shop! I'm a proud Cuban-American mom and self-taught designer living in Virginia Beach and running my small handmade business, Neffy Luca Designs!
Growing up in a Cuban American family, we drank a lot of "cafecito," strong espresso in little cups. As a child I never understood my family's love of coffee. My family was sure that when I was older, I would love coffee too! Now, many years later, I realize that they were right! I love coffee!!❤ And so much so that I began to design mugs and cards featuring coffee cups and phrases that remind me of my Cuban heritage and of my coffee-loving Abuelitas y Abuelitos.
I am fascinated by the many beautiful languages and cultures that make our world unique and diverse, and I love learning about other family's special traditions! I believe that everyone's voice is important, no matter what language they use to tell their story. Neffy Luca is a small shop specializing in unique handmade multilingual cards and gifts. Every product in my store has a special journey to the shelves, and a design made beautiful by the words that infuse it with meaning. I believe in the power of language to connect us and open our horizons to new perspectives, and want my products to express the diverse beauty found in the world's many cultures.
I lovingly design and create each item I sell, and am committed to doing my part to build an environment of unity, connection and good in the world around us.
