I approached newyorkrentparty with a special request to make some custom items out of my prom dress from 1999, which was dear to me for multiple reasons. I didn’t want to part with it but would never wear it again, and I wanted to rejuvenate the material into something I would actually wear and get joy from. We worked together to decide on this clutch and top and then she also made these beautiful baby booties to my surprise, and it’s perfect because we hope for another child. So tender. I opened the box and nearly cried. Everything is so well-crafted and gorgeous. Thank you a million times over for your hard work and communication on this.
