My name is Aster, and I’m an animator and illustrator who draws animals, monsters, and supernatural themes. As a Chinese adoptee, I’ve often felt like a ghost floating between worlds. Too Asian for some, not Asian enough for others, leaving me somewhere in-between.

By using non-human forms as vessels for my headspace, I feel at my freest to explore my identity, mental health, spirituality, and embrace this untethered in-between space. I hope that I can leave you with a little part of the in-between too.
