About Objects & Subjects
Objects & Subjects is a shop about art, specifically wearable art. I take previously loved items and up-cycle them so they can be loved once more. Using materials such as scrap metal to vintage jewelry, I transform these items to create a new and unique piece of jewelry. Intrigued by the clean lines and sharp edges of geometric shapes, my work consists mainly of just that, jewelry with a severe edge balanced alongside lovely lines. You can expect to see jewelry that ranges from feminine and sweet to unique and sexy, as well as some pieces that incorporate all of those wonderful adjectives together. No é possível! É sim! (It’s not possible! Oh, yes it is!)
I am a self-taught jewelry designer who is driven by my passion to create unique and beautiful pieces of wearable art. I am always striving to learn new techniques and eager to apply them to my work, and am inspired by those who do the same. Art is my passion and being able to create something that started out as a sketch and see it be sold to someone who thinks it’s as great as I do is truly a remarkable, almost unbeatable, feeling.
