Seeking a new challenge, I transitioned into the tech world as an engineer. The precision suited me, but my creative spirit was still looking for its true voice. That change finally came the day I picked up my first film camera. I was hooked—I had found my canvas.
When digital photography arrived, a whole new world opened up. But moving from a casual hobbyist to a serious visual artist meant stepping out of my comfort zone. I spent endless hours studying the classical rules of composition and left the safety of "Automatic" mode behind forever.
The ultimate breakthrough came when I transitioned entirely to shooting in RAW format. Coming from an engineering background, I realized that RAW data gave me total, uncompromising control over the final image. By mastering manual shooting, learning to read the nuances of natural light, and diving deep into advanced post-processing, I stopped letting the camera make the creative decisions. I took the wheel.
