Welcome to Perry Pottery and my collection of handmade pottery. Here you'll find stoneware or porcelain coffee cups, oven-safe casseroles, garlic keepers, pestle and mortar sets, bowls, decorative vases, and two of my biggest sellers: the "Hippie Chic" olive oil bottle and the Authentic French Butter Dish.

It’s important for you to know that I throw, hand-build, trim, and glaze every piece I make. I don't use molds, and I don't hire outside help or other potters to turn or finish any of my pieces.

When you see my potter's mark on the underside of a functional or decorative piece, (my signature, if you will), you can be sure that I made it from start to finish.

I also fire my work in a gas kiln.

This means each piece is put into a fire for 8-10 hours.

As a result of the flames and the temperature fluctuations that I manipulate, each piece ends up with textures, tones, and visual effects that are virtually impossible to obtain in a typical, much less-expensive firing method using a common electric kiln.

This special gas-firing process, and the fact that I make every piece by hand, means a smaller collection of original pieces with the highest quality possible.

It also means that no two pieces will ever be the same.

And that's been my goal ever since I put my hands in clay: Perry Pottery must always make it special.
