Love the game, love to create
I have always played paddle and racquet spouts since I was a kid. I started playing paddleball in what was a handball court with a wooden paddle when I was around 10.
Over the years the wooden paddles changed to first aluminum racquets, and later graphite composite. The name of the game changed too. It became racquetball.
I loved the game and would even play games in my sleep.
I tried pickleball in 2015 at my racquet club. It combined all my favorite sports, racquetball, tennis, and ping pong. I put down my racquetball racquet, and pickleball became my new love.
My profession was the jewelry business, so I started making sterling silver pickleball jewelry and started an Etsy site. Woodworking is my favorite hobby.
Last year, my wife suggested I make paddle shaped charcuterie boards (I never knew what a charcuterie was till then).
My day consists of playing pickleball in the morning then making and selling pickleball paddle charcuterie boards in the afternoon.
Perhaps, someday I will see you “in court”
