A little bit about ME!
I’m a native southerner from North Carolina and I am blessed beyond measure by the good Lord above with a wonderful, amazingly supportive husband, “Salty Dog” and our two children, Lexie and Caleb. They are my world! I’m also a DIYer who is passionate about all things creative and love, love, love making custom, one-of-a- kind items for people to use and enjoy!!
As long as I can remember, I have always enjoyed the challenge of making “pretty things” whether it is crafting, painting, designing, sewing, embroidering, and baking just to name a few. I have to admit there’s a running joke among my family and friends. They call me “Martha”! Yes, that’s right…I’m “Martha”(referring to Martha Stewart) because I do “a little bit of everything.” And, it’s true!! My happy place is when I am in the middle of discovering all the various tricks and techniques to make something pretty and unique whatever it may be. You could say my creative juices flow in many different ways and I’m drawn to the fun, funky and whimsical side of life.
The other side of my creative passion is a desire to share and teach others “how to” DIY. As a creative entrepreneur, I want to help you tap into YOUR creative side and learn all the ways to make cute, charming, elegant and beautiful pieces you can enjoy for yourself or in your home, give as gifts, or even sell. What I love MOST is seeing others enjoy the rewards from creating things themselves. Watching creative individuals use their talents and imagination to make beautiful items they are proud of and enjoy for years is where my excitement comes from. Its that excitement that fuels my passion!!
So grab your scissors, glue gun, paint and brushes, tape measure, glitter bottles, stencils and wood and let’s get started!!! If there’s one thing I know it is this…the ability to create is a gift and a blessing. And, for me y'all...I’m PLUM BLESSED!!!!!!
