Creating handmade burlap accessories and home decor
It all started the way all of my days begin, with coffee.
My family owns two Dunn Brothers Coffee shops in the Midwest. Dunn Brothers specializes in in-shop roasting and FRESH beans, always less than a week old. We always had an abundance of burlap coffee bags from roasting.
Earlier on we used them as decor around the house and shop and one day my mom, an accomplished seamstress, decided to whip something up with one of those bags and our first burlap purse was created!
I've always been crafty, I like to keep my hands busy, so I jumped on board and started sewing up some cool bags too and Pseudo Crunchy Mama was born!
Each created bag is unique, as the burlap coffee bag they are made from is unique, we don't follow a pattern, but just let our inspiration and the natural character of the bag to direct us. It has resulted in a lot of fun handbags, purse, totes and organizational items.
We like to take our time and ensure that the product we create is functional, sturdy, and appealing. Our products are meant to be used, treasured and to enhance your daily life.
We are always thinking and creating new items, its a little boring to make the same thing over and over, so check back frequently to see the results!
