Quirky Creatures, Surreal Animal Art ,Handmade goods and Jewelry
My big love of all animals together with a great passion for contemporary design , bizarre humor, odd stuff and science, led me to create the surrealistic creatures which appear in my images.
I believe that pretty soon hybrid creatures are going to appear in our world. We already have the science so it’s a question of when not if. I see my hybrid creatures as mythical and futuristic at the same time. My initial attempt to create hybrids was years ago when I did a series of photo collages about Egyptian art and the mysterious ancient hieroglyphics.
When I’m in nature I often times find myself wishing to see an animal I’ve never seen before, Not anything that can eat me of course, just something a bit more thrilling then a squirrel.
When it doesn’t happen I create it myself in the studio using my photographic material as the stage to my fantasies.Over the years Quirky Creatures evolves with the rest of the planet earth. Therefore you see new and different work and new directions taken in my shop.
