At ReImagination Prints, I transform old, damaged books that would otherwise be discarded into distinctive and unique pieces of art.
I discovered the first set of dictionaries I worked with on the "Free to a Good Home" table at a local Friends of the Library sale. Published in 1897, this four-volume, leather-bound set was noticeably outdated and in very poor condition. Sadly, the books were destined for the ash heap of history (also known as the local landfill).
I couldn’t let them be destroyed, and I hoped that others would love and appreciate their beauty as much as I did. So, I took them home. Now, the history of those books, and others like them, will add a timeless dimension to the artwork that will grace your home.
A longtime artist I’ve been creating dictionary prints for about 15 years. I began selling my art on Etsy about 13 years ago, and in that time, I’ve been honored to connect with people from around the world (in over 60 different countries) who love the idea of giving these old pages new life.
I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to explore my shop. Thank you for considering my work! Belle
