Super cool razor and what an absolute chunky thing it is. It is a little over 3/4 of a pound in weight but is plenty maneuverable. The only downside, I dont hold against RGShavedesign. The casting of the razor head is slightly off so the top cap sits a bit crooked. Honestly its a $7 razor head, I dont expect tight tolerances. That said taking the shave slow today it did its job. Passes the "good enough for government work" test. The knight and the sword in the base also being metal was a neat surprise. I would absolutely buy it again.

I have many of Rod’s razors. They are incredible works of art AND they shave extremely well. I have never been disappointed with Rod’s work or customer service.

This is a well made heavy solid brass handle for a safety razor. I have several brass razor heads with very skimpy handles and was looking for a beefier one that came with the razor. This one is perfect - it is well made and has a nice pattern. I like the pattern and the color / patina of the handle - it goes well with any brass razor. Pleased with my purchase

The razor was shipped very quickly and packaged with care. It looked better in person than in the pictures! It is classy. It had a great feel in my hand. Good weight and not slippery. It shaved close with medium aggression. I am really happy with it!
