Hello! I'm Nicola, a Norfolk-based artist and art teacher with a slightly rebellious mission: to bring the drama and beauty of Renaissance art into your home without the museum price tag. With my First Class BA Hons in Art and years of teaching experience, I create tiny oil paintings that pack all the punch of those grand 15th-century masterpieces - just in sizes that actually fit on your bookshelf. Think Caravaggio meets dollhouse, with a dash of whimsy.
Each piece is a miniature window into the natural world - from the intricate veins of a botanical specimen to the soulful gaze of a single eye, rendered in rich oils using traditional chiaroscuro techniques. I hunt down authentic vintage Rococo frames from local antique shops (because honestly, minimalism is overrated), giving each painting a home as special as the art itself.
Why miniatures? Because art should speak to you, not your bank account. Everyone deserves to own original artwork that makes them stop and stare.
When I'm not teaching or painting, you'll find me rummaging through Norfolk's antique shops for the perfect frame or studying insects in my garden for my next tiny masterpiece.
