The birth of RoxxDolls
I've been involved with the arts for over 3 decades in the form of professional makeup artistry, digital art and now photography and doll customization.
As a child, I was a tomboy and didn't play much with dolls. Now, in my adulting years I happened upon the Monster High doll line and fell completely in love! looking for a challenge, the research began on the processes used for customization which led to my love of "REanimation!" and the RoxxDolls project began.
My creativity is drawn from more of the edgy side of life than the norm. I gain inspiration from Tim Burton style works and prefer to not produce "the girl next door" because my passion for typical just isn't there. I do love gothic, romance and anything from the dark side <3
For me, transforming a doll into something completely new is a beautiful and inspired art form. These dolls tell stories of their own! The strongest influences in my art were born from my professional experience with high end fashion, makeup artistry, my own digital art and a profound love for art in general.
