The magic song of silk.
My mission is described very well by a lady who ordered a custom singing silk scarf:

I have been painting as fas as I remember myself - my father is an artist so painting was for us a normal way of living. Firstly my favorite techinque was watercolor, but 22 year ago I discovered silk and that was love from the first sight.
At the beginning silk painting was for me just a lovely hobby and way to express my creativity. But soon I discovered, that my scarves were loaded with some really special energy - they helped people to have more self confidence (for example in presentations), to keep inner warmth and energy, to make healty eating choices and even to get well from different illnesses. This added a special value to my scarves.
I painted a lot of special silky gifts - for the members of my family, for my friends and colleagues. Later helped my friends with one-of-the-kind gifts for the people they cared about.
When my first daughter was born in 2004 the things changed. Even though I had many projects to do with PC (for example I had been writing a book that was almost ready), I soon found out that doing these things with small children is very complicated.
The good discovery was, that I was able to paint - when the baby slept I had the chance to go to my frame and add some strokes to the scarf, this is a thing you can do even if you have just 15 free minutes.
Later, when my child grew, I painted the scarves and at the same time sang her songs or told stories, and soon she joined me in painting.
The only problem was that the number of scarves in my box grew and all my friends had already got several of them. So I started to sell them, firstly in local art stores, and in my personal web page, but after joining Etsy in 2009 this is my favorite place to sell. I love the people here and the personal communication, I have got clients from all around the world and many of them come back to me again and again and we have become good friends.
