A Journey of Creativity, Resilience, and Crochet
I am Lenore Berry-Zaragosa, a creator unlike anyone else, brimming with imagination and a passion for learning. I thrive on new ideas, constantly seeking to understand and explore the unknown. Creativity and reasoning are at the heart of everything I do, and I find joy in transforming everyday ideas into something extraordinary.
Our story began in the Army, where I met my husband, Fernando (Freddy), the hero of my life. I served as an Army cook for five years, including a one-year overseas tour in Korea, where I worked 14-hour days for 12 days straight. Freddy, a dedicated Army support truck driver, served for 15 years, including two combat tours during Operation Desert Storm and Operation Restore Hope in Somalia. He delivered critical supplies to war zones, including support for the 10th Mountain Division, as portrayed in the movie Black Hawk Down. Today, Freddy battles PTSD, a condition common among combat veterans, which requires us to stay close to each other and cherish the simple, meaningful moments we share.
Freddy’s resilience inspires me daily. While he’s my anchor at home, I’ve poured my energy into this business, creating one-of-a-kind crochet patterns and designs. My hats and scarves draw inspiration from mathematical shapes, blending art and science into something truly unique. I’m driven by the desire to do what no one else has done, from crafting intricate ruffled infinity scarves to designing Mobius-inspired hats.
Everything you see in my shop is a result of my solo efforts. I design, write, and test my patterns, take orders, and handle every aspect of the business. I love connecting with people around the world, sharing my creations, and inspiring others to see the beauty in everyday things.
I encourage everyone to embrace unique ideas and explore the unheard-of. Life is full of magnificence when you create your own version of the ordinary.
