Silver jewelry, faceted gems, glass art and photography

It all comes together in the hills of East Tennessee . . . . . down in the hollow.

Kathy was always crafting as a child, a teen, an adult. She continues to this day bringing her brand of art to silver jewelry and to fused glasswork. She works alongside her husband, Marlon, who has his own skills with lapidary (faceting and cutting cabachons) and photography.

Sugar Shack Studio has been going since 2003, in some form or fashion. It was officially established in 2012 with a working studio..... down in the hollow in the East Tennessee Valley. Kathy and Marlon continue to work on their solo art as well as combining their skills. They are loving every minute.

While Kathy is the metalsmith, Marlon is the lapidary artist. He is the faceter and stone cutter for the majority of Kathy's jewelry. In addition, he is offering his beautiful photography to you with the introduction of his notecards to our shop.
