Capturing the world through my personal lens

I discovered photography back in high school when I took a photography class. Fast forward to 2006, Sunset Shutterbug was unofficially born after my aunt had mentioned that my photos might make for interesting greeting cards.

On December 31st, 2010 Sunset Shutterbug was launched online from my little MacBook in my 2 bedroom apartment located in the Sunset District in San Francisco.

I'm inspired by the City by the Bay, the diverse urban dwellers that cover this city, architecture and everything in between. Whether it's street art or the beautiful sunset over Ocean Beach I love capturing images that are beautiful, funny or thought provoking.

My photography tends to lean on the quarky side, but I also love to capture Mother Nature in all her grace. My intention with my photos is to inspire others to view their lives with an open mind and be grateful for all the little things that we may take for granted as we go about our busy lives.
