Growing up in a family of proud Jamaicans meant I was raised up in an environment a little different from most. Exotic objects filled our home, such as intricate wood carvings, huge aloe plants, overgrown palm trees, and ancient pottery. There were swirls of bright colors that radiated throughout the house, exuding positive energy and creative vibes. So naturally I have been inspired to create my jewelry with vibrant colors and unusual materials such as real sea shells, rough-cut and polished semi-precious stones, as well as intriguing symbols and emblems from around the world.

Jewelry made here at The Artistic Bling is created one piece at a time using different tools, techniques, and processes. In turn, this allows an organic flow and energy to pour into my work. As a result, there are differences and unusual variances from one piece to another. These differences are to be embraced and celebrated.
