Handmade Americana Goods for a Well-Loved Home

A Little About The Opal Works

The Opal Works is a collection of handcrafted, keepsake-minded goods created by Jeni McClure from her home studio in Hayama, Japan.

Inspired by vintage Americana and heirloom craftsmanship, The Opal Works is home to handcrafted rugwork and sewn goods, slowly made in small batches. Each piece is thoughtfully created using upcycled fabrics whenever possible and materials sourced locally here in Japan. Every work is made with the hope that it will be loved, displayed, used often, and kept for years to come.

The Opal Works is a reflection of Jeni's eight years of craftsmanship and her belief that handmade things make a house feel more like home.
