I love my masks - I purchased three quantity. They're very well made and each includes an opening for inserting a filter. They're well-crafted and I love that the masks are tied in the back rather than using elastic to go behind my ears as my ears get irritated by the elastic in others I have tried elsewhere. Thank you for putting your considerable sewing skills and talents to work during this pandemic. I give you 5 Stars with a plus sign. - Jill C. (a very satisfied customer)

The quilt is beautiful! It is so well made and far exceeded my expectations. Cindy helped come up with creative ways to maximize our shirt designs in addition to letting us pick fabrics, and the stitching design for the quilt. It is so personalized.

The workmanship on this quilt is wonderful. Cindy was very helpful in planning for a non-standard design and layout and super easy to work with. I can hardly wait to share the quilt with my son!

Every step of with Cindy on this quilt was a joy. She made it easy to see what the quilt would look like and to make changes before she put it together. The quilt was a gift and the receiver loved it. Thank you.

Quilt made from camp t-shirts brought 17-year-old to (happy) tears. Harry Potter quilting was icing on the cake. Thank you!

My quilt is amazing! Cindy made quilts for my brother and myself out of my dad’s T-shirt’s after he lost a 14 month battle with brain cancer. These quilts are priceless!!! Thank you for an amazing treasure!

The Quilting Engineer

Welcome to my shop! I am so glad you dropped by to spend some quality time with the "Quilting Engineer!" My business is the culmination of many years of planning, dreaming and working. Now that dream has become a reality!
The journey to this dream has been a long path. My passion for making things started when I was a young girl. Hours of learning and working on a wide variety of crafts that were inspired and cultivated by my grandparents gave me a lifetime of wonderful memories that I still cherish today. This passion continued even as I started my professional career at the GM Research Laboratories, working on finite element analysis & strength of materials. Wow! How far from quilting is that! Actually, many of the technical aspects of my Mechanical Engineering degree, I really use in quilting!
I took a leave from GM after a wonderful career in order to stay home with our three sons. Once they were well on their way, I went back to school to earn a teaching certificate for Physics and Mathematics. This led to a high school teaching career that has lasted until just recently.
Now I am ready for the REAL excitement, my quilting career with all of you! I am so excited to be working with so many great people that I have already met on the next step of my life's journey!
