A hidden talent turned into a business
A hidden talent turned into a business
Hello, and welcome to Threading the Seasons!
In April 2021, in the middle of the third-ish lockdown, I decided I wanted another hobby to keep me occupied. I decided on embroidery, and bought myself a couple of DIY kits to save myself from buying bulk supplies. If I didn't end up enjoying it, there would be no harm, right?
It was the best decision I ever made, and soon I was hooked on embroidering, and was doing it almost daily.
Soon after, my hands began itching to make patterns myself. I had so many ideas floating around in my head, and they needed out. I put pencil to paper (hesitantly, might I add, because I could NOT draw) and my very first pattern was born.
In October 2021 I opened the doors to my Etsy shop, where I started selling the patterns I drew.
Welcome to Threading the Seasons - where we slow down and unwind from busy day-to-day life by picking up a needle and thread to embroider rustic designs. Threading the Seasons is a one-woman show, and my mission is to make embroidery accessible for everyone by making beginner-friendly patterns, all while bringing a little aesthetic to your homes!
