Bait and Stitch was born in early 2017 after I started sharing my blackwork embroidery hoops with the craft community online. I have been a keen crafter from an early age, and am inspired by the countryside of Suffolk and Derbyshire where I grew up.
Every stitch is done by hand, and the process of observing and recreating the details of the natural world is the driving passion behind what I create.
At Bait and Stitch, I do my best to preserve and look after the environment which inspires my work, by using fair trade and ethically sourced cotton and thread to make every hoop.
