Welcome to Twyla Designs Studio!
I love to be creative and to surround myself with beautiful things. As a mom of four this creativity has been utilized over the years on everything from renovating our old farmhouse to sewing costumes for dancers. I have always enjoyed creating accessories for myself and now that my kids are *mostly* grown I have more time to create. I am excited to create things I love to share with others!
All earrings in my shop are individually made, by hand, by me, of polymer clay with nickel free metal posts and metal accent pieces. Polymer clay earrings are lightweight and easy to wear all day long without hurting your ears. I love working with polymer clay because it is so versatile and can be used in so many ways.
Each collection is created by me, from sketch to color mixing and finishing to assembly. I find inspiration in nature, in historical design, in fashion, in artwork, really, anything has the potential to spark creativity! My collections are created in small batches and each piece is available in limited quantities. Every pair is a unique work created in my little home studio in rural Paris, Tennessee.
