Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalised orders

I only do variations of my own work, so please do not approach me with a picture of another artist's work and ask me to replicate it.

To give you the best service possible, I may ask for your confirmation on things regarding your piece throughout the construction of your custom order. However, if you do not reply to messages in a timely fashion, I cannot guarantee the speed of making your piece, or I may have to make key decisions without your input, especially where there is an important deadline to stick to.

Piece construction time depends on what I have available on hand and my current queue of orders. PLease let me know if you have a deadline.

Shipping times

I am all the way over in Australia and things take much longer to arrive from the Land Down Under.

Forget about what the Post website says! In my experience so far, it is extremely rare for the post services' estimates to be anything like what actually happens.

I post out within 1-2 business days, as my listings state (for ready to ship not custom made). If you need the piece by a certain date PLEASE TELL ME. I may need to get you to add on an Express Post option, or it may not even be physically possible to get your piece to you in time. I do not give refunds if it is just assumed the piece will arrive in time because a post office website is being unrealistic or it is held at customs . I have absolutely NO CONTROL over postage.

Photographers

I LOVE to do collaborations! However, there are a few rules...

If you are local to me (Melbourne) I prefer to be on site at the shoot to care for my pieces.

If I am not there (ie- you are overseas or interstate), you will need to put down a $100 damage deposit. All care must be taken to keep my pieces in a sell-able condition. If my piece is damaged and cannot be repaired or is returned with makeup on it, you will lose your damage deposit. My pieces are not waterproof and cannot be submerged in water.

If it is required to post the piece, I will pay for postage to you and you will pay to return it to me in the packaging you received it in. Post must be done with tracking in 1 week after the shoot or the damage deposit will be retained.

Why do I have to pay a fee to pick up my imported parcel?

Many countries add a tax or an import fee on items being sent from overseas, even if the customs slip marks it as a gift. This is usually paid at the post office when you go to pick up your delivery. This has nothing to do with me and is something your country's government has set in place. It is not my responsibility to tell you about policies in your own country or tell you how much the fee/tax will be. It is expected that you will know about what happens in your country more than what I would because you live there. If you would like to know how much a tax or fee will be, I am sure there are customs or post office websites from your country that will give some information about that.
