Handcrafting treasures of beauty and having them appreciated is one of the most rewarding things to do. I feel blessed that the creations I make become part of someone's life.. a special treasure.. a keepsake... or just a memento of good times in Hawaii. All my creations are intended to bring a little bit of the Hawaiian Aloha into your heart and home.
Attracted by the spiritual power of the Volcano and remoteness of the area, I moved with my husband to Volcano in 1994 to pursue our goal of becoming full time artists, a desired change from our professional corporate background. It was our desire to be able to do what we "love" to do. We live and work in the middle of a lush green tropical rain forest right next to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
I work in my studio alongside my husband, who is the only colored gemstone cutter in Hawaii, and also a Professional Certified Gemologist (CG). We work together on most all projects and the "being together" part is always the best part of every day.
We are proud to be “Makers of Beautiful Things” and feel very privileged to live in one of the most picturesque places in Hawaii. The peaceful and serene atmosphere in Volcano is perfect ambience for any artist.
