With a background as a marathon runner, a triathlete, a stay-at-home mom of two, and also a former personal trainer, I know first hand how even the smallest words of encouragement can motivate you to get up - to take that next step - to keep moving forward - to get you to achieve your goals, no matter how big or small they may be.

As a member/co-leader of the Madison chapter of Mom's Run This Town/She Runs This Town running groups, I began making shoelace tags for some friends in these groups to help encourage them to meet their goals. As more requests began to come in and people started offering to pay for these items, I decided to start this Etsy store and expand my offerings to include bracelets as well as necklaces.
