Who I am..
Mi vida ha estado llena de muchas cosas, pero una que siempre ha sido consistente es mi amor por los niños pequeños y su brillante imaginación. A lo largo de los años he creado, creado y vendido muchas de las cosas que hice. Al igual que con cada nueva temporada, se presenta un nuevo viaje y ahí es donde estoy hoy.
En los últimos años comencé a educar en casa a mis propios hijos y gradualmente comencé a recolectar herramientas de aprendizaje suplementarias, juguetes, imprimibles, etc. Pronto me di cuenta de que tener una lección práctica en nuestra propia casa es parte del aprendizaje de mis hijos, incluso si ya han pasado la edad preescolar (¡mi hijo menor tiene 8 años!). Nos gusta incorporar juguetes Safari Toob, peg dolls, juegos y más en nuestras canastas matutinas temáticas mensuales. ¡Un día me topé con una imagen de un paisaje de juego de fieltro que sabía que sería fácil de crear! ¡Viola'! Los juguetes que creo están inspirados en otros y en la naturaleza combinada. Yo o mi esposo cortamos cada pedazo de madera (¡salvado de la pila quemada!), lijamos y pintamos para el disfrute de su hijo. Todas las muñecas Peg están pintadas por mí o por mi talentosa hija y selladas para su protección. Los juguetes también son creados por nosotros con amor y determinación para compartir nuestra diversión con los demás. Y, por supuesto, ¡nuestros artículos de aprendizaje digital son para uso suplementario para cualquier niño!

My life has been filled with many things, but one that has always been consistent is my love of young children and their bright imaginations. Over the years I've crafted, created, and sold many of the things that I made. As with each new season, a new journey presents itself and that is where I am today.
In the past few years I began home educating my own children and gradually began collecting supplemental learning tools, toys, printables, etc. I soon realized that having a hands on lesson in our own home is part of my children's learning even if they are past preschool age now (my youngest is 8!). We like to incorporate Safari Toob toys, Peg Dolls, games, and more into our monthly themed Morning Baskets. One day I stumbled upon a picture of a felt playscape that I just knew would be easy to create!! Viola`! My one finished playscape and the few peg dolls I had painted swirled into one big idea and that is how Willow & Owl was born! The toys I create are inspired by others and nature combined. Myself or my Husband cut each piece of wood (saved from the burn pile!), sand them and paint them for your child's enjoyment. All Peg Dolls are painted by myself or my talented daughter and sealed for protection. The toys are also created by us with love and determination to share our fun with others. And of course, our digital learning items are for supplemental use for any child!
