This privacy policy describes how and when I collect, use and share personal information when you purchase a product from me, contact me or otherwise use my services through Etsy.

This privacy policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control, including Etsy itself. For information about how Etsy handles personal information, please refer to Etsy’s Privacy Policy.

Information I receive

In order to fulfil your order, I receive certain information through Etsy, such as your name, email address, delivery address and details of the products you have ordered.
If you contact me directly, for example with a question about an order or a customised product, you may choose to provide me with additional personal information.

Why I use this information

I only use personal information where there is a valid legal basis to do so, for example:
- to fulfil your order and provide customer service;
- to comply with legal and administrative obligations;
- to resolve disputes or issues relating to an order;
- for my legitimate business interests, such as improving my services and complying with Etsy’s terms and policies.

Who information may be shared with

I only share personal information where necessary. This may include:
- Etsy, for processing and managing your order;
- shipping carriers, for delivering your order;
- my accounting software SnelStart and my accountant, where necessary for my financial administration;
- other service providers that are necessary to operate my business and fulfil orders;
- government authorities where I am legally required to provide information.
If my business is sold or transferred, personal information may form part of that transfer, where legally permitted.

Data retention

I do not keep personal information for longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless I am legally required to retain it for longer.
Information forming part of my financial administration is generally retained for 7 years.

Your rights

Depending on the applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict its processing or object to certain forms of processing.

Where information must be retained due to a legal obligation, I may not always be able to delete it immediately.

Complaints

If you live in the EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.
