Hi - Before you start reading I want to make sure that you know this is a set of instructions to build a Catio. It is not a physical object. Thanks!

These instructions will guide you to build a Catio that is 25 x 25 x 19" high. That is the most efficient use of lumber but you can change it for your needs.

This unit is designed to allow the window to close behind it (it does on the one I built for our cat) however I can't guarantee how your window works. If in doubt please don't buy this unit. I'd rather lose the sale than have you build something that doesn't work for your situation.

Material prices will vary depending where you are and where you shop but this should be less than $75. The big variable is in the choice you make about screening.

Because there are many styles and materials for windows you may have to modify my instructions for your needs. If your window has a wooden frame you should be okay for install. If you have vinyl or metal you should use brackets to hold it in place . This is discussed further in the instructions.

This is written for people with basic skills and tools. It's approximate size is 25 x 25 x 19" high (plus legs).

The unit attaches to a window that opens on to the ground or a deck so that its legs have a solid surface to sit on.
