About Me

Hi There,

Thank you for visiting my Etsy Store.

My name is Lisa and I work full time in IT and spend most of my evenings being creative, making orders and playing with Kai and Loki.

I decided to open a store (with encouragement from my friends and family) after making a selection of collars for Kai after he was getting to big for his Kitten collar.
I would go looking for different and fun looking fabric, something you wouldn't find in your normal pet shop, and decided to make Kai his own collar.
I shared my finished collar to my friends and the orders came, from there I decided CBK would open shop.

I was stuck on a name for the shop for the longest time and by that time Kai had a few collars to choose from, and would choose a collar to wear every few days.

We opened up shop on the 1st January 2021 with the name Chosen By Kai, seemed fitting.

A few month in, a customer asked if we did bow ties too as they love the cat collar so much they wanted a bow to match. So the CBK bowties were born. Next came Sailor Bows and then Bandanas, Scrunchies and the crochet toys. Who knows what we will make next!

We have had many requests over the time we have been open, and as long as I can see the final product, I will make it!

When I get an order, I do a little happy dance!

I love making every order!

Kai is my supervisor, he will watch over and makes sure that everything is up to his standard. Once he is happy he goes off for a nap.
