Hi I’m Rachel (Mrs O). I’m a hobby Needle Felter. These are NOT SUITABLE for children. They are delicate and would not suit a child’s play and also contain items that can be easily swallowed eg glass eyes.
I’m constantly being asked to advertise my creations either on Facebook or on Etsy, so here I am! My first steps.. into being a seller.
Like I say I’m a hobby Felter, and most nights after work I’ll be needling away till late. I love making animals. I’ve made many for family and friends, and until recently I’ve been taking on commissions.
I use pure sheep wool which has been washed, but I do like the original texture and smell of real wool and source it from reputable online companies and local farmers.
Sometimes I will use wire armatures to enable structure or movement. I will state in the description if I’ve used it. I also use glass pin eyes, felted eyes, handmade clay noses or feet.
For now as I would classify myself as a hobby Felter so I would prefer to post the items within the UK only, but .. please just ask if you live anywhere else in the world! But it would be at an additional posting/mailing cost.

I’m tickled pink you love him. He was made especially for you with loads of love and attention. 🥰 super proud you’ve also bought the big Hare. I’m really proud of him due to his size and a different felting technique of “fur planting”. I hope you like him. My hares are going to miss him immensely. 🥰🥰

5 out of 5 starsThis reindeer is absolutely stunning in intricacy and artistry. I have other felted items that are nice, cute, fun, and/or amusing, but nothing as realistic as this. It is like having a miniature, magical creature in my home. It was a purchase I gifted to myself for Christmas. Needless to say, I am thrilled with my gift. It will stay out all year as it is simply too precious to enjoy just a few weeks out of the year. Regarding the 2 star rating on shipping: The package was shipped promptly by Mrs. O, but was delayed at the second stop for some reason. It was supposed to arrive by Dec 16. I waited until after Christmas to file an inquiry. Fedex had it here 2 days later.

I'm sorry about FedEx there was nothing I could do about it as you know. Their response about Christmas demand was not acceptable as we posted weeks beforehand. Totally out of our control.
