5 out of 5 starsI bought the quilt as a gift and it was exactly what I was looking for. The pockets and buttons were a unique touch - so fun! It got daily use over the holidays. It is also a hand quilted item. Very happy with this purchase.

5 out of 5 starsExtraordinary gift for my husband - he absolutely loves it and every time he passes by it then he remarks on one of the ties and a memory it evokes. It arrived much sooner than I expected too! Highly recommend and have shared the idea with many of my friends.

5 out of 5 starsI bought one of these totes (shopping bags). It's big; durable; washable; a conversation starter at the market and a real bargain. nIf you live in a condo as I do, it's also a handsome way to hold newspapers and other clean stuff until you get to the recycle bin. nFor me this is a great way to reuse old jeans! n

5 out of 5 starsI liked this book for many reason: It addressed very important issues to me| what is the meaning of my/our life . What sustains me/us during difficult life challenges? it addressed these issues in the context of the lives of two artistic, Jewish women, very different from each other but also interconnected. nHere we have Rachel, a woman who loves deeply. Even in the face of the horrors of the a holocaust, she is sustained by her faith, her spiritual mystical practices, her devotions to others, her artistic creativity. Leah lives several generations later. we feel that is greatly impacted, perhaps in mysterious ways, by the former woman. n nI found pleasing the interweaving of themes and layers of existence, from the material, sensua,l touch and work with fabric, strings, colors to the spiritual practices of meditations, chanting, blessings; from the Chassidic, religiously observant a Rebitbitzen to the contemporary, spiritually seeking and struggling Jewish artist, who discovers her strength in the face of imminent death from cancer. n nas readers we feel for these women and their stories and also learn about a lost Jewish community. the author imagines and resurrects an entire life style that was mostly wiped out by the Holocaust. By doing so she honors their memory and affirmsthe continuity of their lives with ours. n nI found that message rich, hopeful and inspiring. n nMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm nMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
