This beautiful design was inspired by the traditional double wedding ring quilts. Make your blanket as large as you like by following the repeats. See more details (like yardage info) on my website here: https://ashleeslint.com/?p=4983 and check out the latest update regarding the center-out technique here: https://ashleeslint.com/?p=6334
*ERRATA: Interlocking center-out row 107 should end with "AC to back". File has been updated as of Oct 20, 2022; if you purchased before this date you may contact me for an updated file.*
**You will receive four files:**
- the interlocking line-by-line instructions, with a one-page chart (81 x 81), repeatable to any width and height,
- the overlay mosaic line-by-line instructions (including instructions for an envelope border) and a multi-page chart (77 x 77) marked with X's for mosaic crochet (also repeatable for any width and height),
- the center-out instructions and chart for the interlocking technique,
- the center-out pattern and X-marked chart for the overlay mosaic crochet technique.
____
The Locked Filet Mesh (LFM) interlocking crochet method uses only chain spaces and double crochets to create a mesh; two colors are worked alternately which creates the pattern.
Mosaic crochet uses single crochet and double crochet stitches. The double crochet stitches cover some of the other color's single crochet stitches to create the design. My patterns instruct you to cut your yarn at the end of each row. The back is striped but often gives a faint impression of the pattern on the front (sort of like illusion knitting).
Both techniques can be done from the bottom-up or from the center-out.
