Thanks for the feedback. I paid a photographer to do them and I really didn't like the way they came out. We went round and round and I finally let her finish them. Next time I'll make sure they are exactly what I want.

I've done Belfast Arts in the Park, the Cumberland Craft Show, Waterville InTown Arts Fest, Pagan Pride Day and a few of little note with United Maine Craftsmen. They're a good organization, but I had a really bum year with them. I highly recommend Waterville's show and I'm considering Gardiner Main Street's ArtsFest this year.

karhumoon- Can you share the contact info with the group for the Waterville and Gardiner shows? I'd love to learn more and maybe do them.

Jamie, and group:
www.watervillemainstreet.org, and www.gardinermainstreet.org are the websites. The phone contact at wmst is 680-2055, since I've never been able to get to the right page online. I've never done Gardiner, so I don't know it, but Waterville is always a good show for me. It's set for Saturday, July 19. It is not a juried show, although they do have purchase prizes and general prizes in (almost) each category. I'm a little bitter about jewelry and sculpture not being included in the purchase prizes. The entry fee for Waterville is $40 and $50 for Gardiner. Gardiner is juried and the deadline is May 1. I think.

Brunswick has an art fest too in August it is juried and dont quote me but I think its costs 100 dollars. I read about it at five river arts.

Hallowell is having an outdoor arts fest on June 28th. There's more info in the April 2008 Newsletter here: www.harlowgallery.org/

I haven't done it before but Halloweel is happening in the summertime so I signed up. I know that it's free for artists-- not sure if you have to be a member or not but give them a call if interested.

Another note on the forums: I've caught up on approving all members who've registered so far. There were a few who I couldn't match to an e-mail address/shop name, so if you still can't access the boards, please convo me with your Etsy username and the name you registered with on the forum so I can confirm your registration. Thanks!
